Loved this self-described greasy spoon (though it’s spotless), sitting on swivel stools at the Formica counter, appreciating the gorilla and veteran theme (it works, which I’ve found to be true of almost every gorilla and veteran themed restaurant I’ve patronized). The staff was delightfully cheery, especially the morning after a full day of wine tasting. I couldn’t finish the very generous 3-egg scramble with ham, onions, green peppers, and added cheese, thick buttered toast, and huge pile of home fries. Open for breakfast and lunch.

So good we went twice…the raisin toast was fabulous along with all the other food, whilst receiving great service

Pleasant surprise after the original spot we were going to was closed on Sundays. But we were very satisfied with our service and our meals. We will definitely come back again big servings hot food service with a smile. Lots of seating, cozy, friendly locals spot. I had a supreme Chilaquiles while my husband had the pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage. Do not let the pics fool you the sausage were jumbo size so good.

Stopped in here for breakfast on our way out of town based on recommendations from a couple others we were traveling with. We almost didn't stay because there were so many people waiting, but they sat people fairly quickly, so I think we waited maybe 15 minutes or so. The breakfasts our group got were very good. Normally, it's hard to mess up breakfast food, but they do a really good job here. I ordered a basic eggs, sausage patty, and french toast breakfast and it was really good. Service was very quick, although as I mentioned before, the place is very busy. Obviously, there's a reason for that. Great place to stop in for breakfast.

Of all the places to get a delicious breakfast meal on the California Central Coast, this is the place to go! Diane is the best, and she is so kind and patient while serving! We promise that when you enter in and try whether it be hashbrowns, omelets, pancakes, or toast that you will leave with a great big smile on your face! ~ The Paso Robles Missionaries

Excellent service! Our server was kind, funny and incredibly attentive. The atmosphere is what you would expect from an all American diner. Our meals were decent, but nothing to be amazed about. My mother’s “tri tip” was tough and chewy. My Denver omelette was decent.

Absolutely loved Joe's Place in Paso. It's got a great history, they love us #MilitaryVeterans and active duty I'm sure. The way the restaurant architecture is you can tell it was something else turned in to the restaurant which I think gives it character. Destiny, our waitress, was sweet and just snarky enough to experience. Food was delicious, I chose the Lorraine which is spinach, bacon and Swiss cheese omelet. I chose Hash browns to go with it as well as sourdough toast! I'll be back for sure!!! Oh and the pin up girls, their in the men's restroom. Ladies was occupied and there were no men waiting soooo why not?! 10/10
